According to the authorities, a shooting that occurred on Sunday night at an apartment complex in Tampa took place, which resulted in the evacuation of a Publix grocery store that was located close.

A car with five individuals inside came across the suspect, who then began firing at them, according to Hernando County Sheriff Al Nienhuis. The incident took place at approximately 7:40 p.m. at the Mariner Clay Apartments in Spring Hills. These apartments are located in the city of Spring Hills. The circumstances that led up to the shooting are still unknown, according to Nienhuis.

“I’m not sure what, if any exchange took place, but that individual started shooting at the vehicle,” Nienhuis said. No other information was provided. “The vehicle, then of course, left the area at a high rate of speed and ended up [at the Mariner Commons Shopping Centre].” There were five passengers in the automobile, and according to the sheriff, three of them were hurt. After that, the vehicle drove away and eventually arrived at the Publix shop located within the Mariner Commons Shopping Centre.

Nienhuis stated that all three victims were sent to nearby hospitals for treatment. It is not known what their ailments are.
