Eric Campbell Crescent City, CA, 47-year-old man with seizure disorder missing since September 17

Eric Campbell of Crescent City, California, a 47-year-old man with seizure disorder reportedly missing, and was last seen on September 17. According to Brandy, Eric had gone camping up there with a buddy a few weeks before to his disappearance. “And he decided to go back and camp for the week that he went missing, that week, he was going to camp because he was starting a new job in Crescent City, helping to remodel house,” Brandy recalls. Therefore, he was camped out by himself. He had his two dogs with him. Those who cared about Eric went out to search for him in the neighborhood, and they discovered that his dogs were safe and sound inside his truck.

As a result, the family discovered that his truck and campsite had been abandoned, as Brandy explained. “I mean, it was deserted,” she said. The situation was left in such a way that it appeared as though he was going to return straight away; his phone, tablet, dog, and keys were all contained within his truck. There was evidence of his bank cards. It is only a pair of shoes that we are able to account for as being absent from the inventory. Therefore, we are going to presume that he left with nothing but what he was wearing.

Additionally, Brandy stated that he would never have even considered going on a walk without his two dogs at his side. She went on to say that even Eric’s tools, which he intended to use for the remodeling job he was doing in the neighborhood, were present in his vehicle. Immediately in response to the question of whether or not it is typical for the family to go this long without hearing from Eric, she responded, “No.” In particular, he communicates with my mother and my father on a daily basis.

“So at first, we thought because he does have a seizure disorder and maybe he had a seizure and got disoriented,” she theorised. “So we thought because he also has a seizure disorder.” It’s possible that he got lost on Highway 199 and was picked up by someone while he was there. It does not appear to us that he is currently in the mountains at this time. We had the impression that he departed the location as if he were taken by someone.

“If anyone saw anything or knows anything, please come forward,” Brandy implored with those who were present. Additionally, she mentioned that because there are no cameras in that particular stretch of rural highway and woodland, it is impossible to look at the CCTV footage. As a result, the family is dependent on the fact that someone has spotted Eric.

Please get in touch with the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office if you or anyone you know saw Eric on or around September 17th. Eric has blue eyes and stands at a height of 5 feet 6 inches.
