Charles Duru of Dahlonega, Georgia, who was a student of the University of North Georgia (UNG) has sadly died. On Tuesday evening, a motorcycle that was being driven by a student at the University of North Georgia (UNG) collided with an automobile in Lumpkin County, resulting in the death of the student. In addition, the individual who was driving the vehicle has been charged in connection with the collision.
It has been reported by the state patrol that Edwin Miranda, age 21, from Cumming, was charged with vehicular homicide in the second degree. His name was Charles Duru, and he was 24 years old. He was from Dahlonega. It is believed that Miranda turned his vehicle into the path of Duru’s bicycle at the intersection of Barlow Road and Morrison Moore Parkway, which resulted in Duru’s death.
His funeral arrangements and obituary will be announced by his family at a later date.
