Laura Wimer of Canton, Ohio, has passed away, she was the positive Leader Director of Client Experience & Contract Management – Eastern Utility Services at The Davey Tree Expert Company. Her light shined so bright as her caring, compassionate, loving and empathetic heart made everyone around her better for knowing her. She was the most kind hearted, driven, selfless person there is. Her smile, laugh & love were always a bright note even on the gloomiest of days. She had the prettiest smile and the biggest sense of humor.

She had such a gift of making everyone in your life feel loved, heard, and valued. For her role at work, she focuses on the good and improving the not-so-good has always been where she was most effective. Wimer was fortunate to get to meet so many amazing people – employees, clients, partners and see this beautiful country while doing so.

Wimer was a seasoned leader in the fields of finance and business development, and he had an established history of working in the environmental services industry as a genuine people person. Budgeting, Microsoft Excel, analytical skills, sales, interpersonal communication, marketing, and accounting were all areas in which she excelled that she was proficient in. An experienced operations professional with a wide range of skills, a person who is committed to lifelong learning, and a graduate of California Southern University with a Doctor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Business Leadership.
