Melissa Young, who is the Former Miss Wisconsin USA, has allegedly died. The former Miss Wisconsin who was battling an incurable and fatal condition, termed terminal autonomic failure has died. Although at the time of this report her family have not announced or disclosed her cause of death, but according to reports she died from the ailment. She will be greatly missed by her fans, her family, community and all who knew and loved her.

Her family will be the ones to make the announcement regarding her funeral arrangements and obituary.

Concerning Miss Wisconsin USA

The competition known as Miss Wisconsin USA is the pageant that is responsible for selecting the individual who will represent the state of Wisconsin in the championship of Miss USA. From 2007 till the present day, Future Productions of Savage, Minnesota has been in charge of directing the state pageant.

With only eight placements in over sixty years, Wisconsin is one of the states that has the least amount of success in the Miss USA system. This is due to the fact that the state has never been able to win the title of Miss USA. They did not have any places from 1979 until 2007, when Caitlin Morrall made it into the top fifteen. The most recent placement was Alexis Maria Loomans in 2023, who placed second runner-up. This is the highest placement for the state since Mary Cook also earned second runner-up in 1974. The title of Miss Congeniality was bestowed upon Melissa Ann Young in the year 2005. In the year 1999, Elyzabeth Lee Pham was crowned Miss Photogenic, and in 2016, Kate Redeker was crowned Miss USA.

At the VAHS Performing Arts Centre in Verona on June 15, 2024, Tori Trittin, who hails from Madison, was proclaimed the winner of the title of Miss Wisconsin USA 2024. She is going to compete for the title of Miss USA 2024 when she represents Wisconsin.
