The incident occurred on Sunday evening (October 6), when a man pulled a woman out of a car in Sawbridgeworth and attempted to inflict injuries on her with a knife. At approximately seven o’clock in the evening, the event took place on West Road, close to the intersection where the A1184 Cambridge Road and Station Road meet. Both the police and the paramedics appeared.
A spokesman for the Hertfordshire Constabulary stated that another woman entered the situation and, as a result of her actions, sustained a hand injury. After that, the suspect drove away from the scene of the crime. A spokeswoman for the company stated, “It is believed that the individuals involved are familiar with each other.”
The incident is being investigated by the police as a possible instance of attempted assault that resulted in grievous bodily injury (GBH). Questions are still being asked. The East of England Ambulance Service dispatched a paramedic car, a quick response vehicle, and an ambulance to the location where the incident occurred. “One individual was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital [in Harlow] with an upper-limb injury,” stated a spokesperson for the hospital.
