Wesley Hayes of Fenton, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. He was 32 years old. He was to have died in a motor vehicle accident. Wesley was a proud spouse and father. Wesley was a familiar figure to anyone who had entered a livestock barn, not only because of his accomplishments in the ring but also because of the love and light he radiated to each individual he encountered.

He aspired to be the greatest man, friend, son, grandson, brother, uncle, husband, and father. His enthusiasm for the environment was evident in his professional endeavours as well as his leisure activities.

Hunting season was his preferred season; you could be certain that he was at his happiest in a waterfowl blind or a deer stand. He was the most adept of men; there was no DIY project that his wife presented to him that he did not not only comprehend but also accomplish.

Funeral Plans

On Sunday, October 6, 2024, the family will receive friends at Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Rosary will commence at 6:00 p.m. On Monday, visitation will recommence at 9:00 a.m. at the Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh.

Father Bill Miller will preside over a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Hathaway, commencing at 11:00 a.m. The burial will take place at Fenton Cemetery in Fenton, LA.
